End User License Agreement
Version 1.1
Effective Oct 10th, 2026
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is an agreement between Lâm Bảo (“LB”, “we”, “us”), and the individual or legal entity identified as the licensee (“Licensee”, “you”).
By purchasing, downloading, installing or using font software supplied by LB (“Font Software”), you agree to this EULA.
You are purchasing a license to use the Font Software, not ownership of the Font Software or typeface design.
The fonts, License Type, Business Size and any additional rights included in your purchase are recorded on your receipt, invoice or license document (“License Record”).
Upon payment of the applicable fee, LB grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide and perpetual right to use the Font Software within the scope of your purchased license.
If your Business Size or usage exceeds that scope, you must obtain the appropriate license upgrade.
All rights not expressly granted remain with LB.
The Font Software, typeface designs, outlines, source files, programming and associated intellectual property remain the property of LB and/or their respective rights holders.
You may own the logos, artwork, layouts and other original works created using the Font Software, but you do not acquire ownership of the Font Software or typeface design itself.
Where applicable, license pricing is based on how many people will use the Font Software at the time of purchase.
The standard tiers are: Individual: non-commercial use; S: up to 10 people; M: up to 50 people; L: up to 200 people; XL: up to 500 people; Custom: unlimited usage within the scope of the agreed custom license.
Parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and other separate legal entities are not automatically covered.
A designer, studio or agency may purchase a license on behalf of a client, provided the client is identified as the Licensee.
A client’s license does not automatically grant external designers, agencies, freelancers, developers or contractors the right to install or use the Font Software. Any party requiring access to the Font Software must be appropriately licensed.
Outlined, flattened or otherwise non-editable artwork may be shared without transferring the Font Software itself.
Commercial printers and production vendors may temporarily receive the Font Software solely to produce licensed work and must delete it once production is complete.
A Desktop License permits static use of the Font Software, including: Print and editorial design; Packaging; Signage; Presentations and documents; Static advertising; Static social media; Out-of-home advertising.
Logo and wordmark use requires a Logo License. Books, publications and merchandise that are sold or commercially distributed require a Publishing & Merchandising License.
The Font Software may also be embedded in protected or non-editable documents where reasonable measures prevent extraction.
Any moving, animated or audiovisual use requires a Motion Pictures License.
A Logo License permits use of the Font Software to create logos, wordmarks and brand marks for the Licensee, within the scope of the purchased license.
Text may be converted into vector outlines and those outlines modified for a specific mark. The finished mark may be supplied as outlined, flattened or otherwise non-editable artwork without transferring the Font Software.
A Logo License is purchased separately from the other license types. It does not cover other typography, webfont use, font embedding in applications, or moving or audiovisual use; these require the appropriate separate licenses.
A Web License permits use of the supplied webfont files on one root domain and its associated subdomains. It covers websites primarily used for publishing, marketing, editorial, portfolio, ecommerce or informational purposes.
Webfonts may be self-hosted or hosted by a technical provider acting solely on behalf of the Licensee. Reasonable measures must be taken to prevent unauthorised downloading, hotlinking or use on unlicensed domains.
Desktop font files may not be publicly served as webfonts. A Web License does not cover web applications, SaaS products or software-based services. These require an App License.
An App License permits the Font Software to be embedded or used in one software product or application, including: Native applications; Desktop applications; Mobile applications; Web applications; SaaS products; Hybrid applications; Games; Software interfaces.
Each materially separate application, title or software product requires its own license. The Font Software must be reasonably protected from extraction.
An App License does not cover systems where end users can independently generate new typographic designs, documents, products or downloadable assets using the Font Software unless expressly agreed by LB.
A Motion Pictures License is required for any moving, animated or audiovisual use of the Font Software. This includes: Film and cinema; Television; Streaming; Commercials; Paid and organic social video; Animation; Music videos; Brand and campaign films; Trailers; Title sequences; Programme graphics; Broadcast identities; Online video; Reels, shorts and comparable audiovisual media.
Static advertising remains covered by the Desktop License. Motion Pictures pricing may be determined by Business Size, production scale, budget, audience or other terms specified at purchase.
A Publishing & Merchandising License permits use of the Font Software to create static typography and artwork for publications and physical products sold, distributed or otherwise made available to the public. It covers books, magazines, newspapers, journals, catalogues, apparel, posters, stationery, accessories, homeware and other merchandise.
Final artwork may be supplied to printers or manufacturers in outlined, rasterized, flattened or otherwise non editable form. The Font Software itself may not be redistributed. This license does not cover logo or wordmark use, webfont use, applications, motion or audiovisual use, or product packaging unless separately licensed.
Trial Fonts contain a limited character set (basic Latin letters, figures and punctuation) and may be used for: Evaluation and testing; Internal design exploration; Private client presentations; Private design pitches.
Trial Fonts may not be used in publicly released or final commercial work. If a concept using a Trial Font is approved for public or commercial use, the appropriate commercial license must be purchased before release.
Trial Fonts may not be redistributed.
Uses not adequately covered by the standard licenses require a separate written agreement.
These may include: Use across multiple legal entities; Large-scale corporate deployment; OEM or hardware embedding; Server-side use; Automated document generation; Online design tools; User-generated design systems; Personalised product systems; Font hosting or distribution services; Other unusual or technically complex implementations.
A custom agreement may override specific parts of this EULA where expressly stated.
You may convert text into vector outlines and modify those outlines as part of a specific logo, artwork, illustration or design.
You may not: Modify or rename the Font Software; Create derivative font files; Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it; Extract or reconstruct its source code; Convert it into another font format for distribution; Commission another party to do any of the above.
Modification of the Font Software itself requires written permission from LB.
A Publishing & Merchandising License permits the Font Software to be used on merchandise and physical products sold or commercially distributed, within the scope of that license.
You may not create products whose primary purpose is the reproduction or redistribution of the typeface itself, including: Reusable alphabet sets; Downloadable glyph packs; Stencil systems; Derivative font products; Products designed primarily to let others reproduce the typeface. Such uses require written permission from LB.
Except where expressly permitted by this EULA, you may not: Sell; Resell; Sublicense; Rent; Lease; Publicly upload; Distribute; Share the Font Software.
Reasonable backup copies are permitted.
Font files must not be stored in publicly accessible repositories, unsecured public folders or other locations where unauthorised users may access them.
Without written permission from LB, the Font Software, glyph outlines, source data or substantially equivalent font data may not be used to train, fine-tune or develop artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems intended to generate: Fonts; Typefaces; Glyphs; Lettering systems; Substantially similar type-design assets.
This does not prohibit ordinary use of flattened or rasterised artwork created with the Font Software.
The Font Software may not be used: In violation of applicable law; To unlawfully distribute the Font Software; To infringe LB’s or another party’s intellectual-property rights; In content whose primary purpose is the promotion of hatred or unlawful discrimination against protected groups; Outside the scope of the purchased license.
There is no general restriction on political use under this EULA.
If your Business Size, technical implementation or usage exceeds the scope of your purchased license, you must obtain the appropriate license upgrade.
Licenses may not be independently transferred, assigned or resold.
If the Licensee is acquired, merged or reorganised into another legal entity, an upgrade may be required where the resulting organisation materially exceeds the original licensed scope.
LB warrants that it has the necessary rights to license the Font Software.
If the Font Software contains a material technical defect, LB will provide reasonable support and, where appropriate, a corrected version or replacement.
Because Font Software is a downloadable digital product, all sales are final and non-refundable once the files have been supplied or downloaded, except where otherwise required by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LB is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the Font Software.
Except where liability cannot legally be limited, LB’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected license.
If you materially breach this EULA, LB may require you to correct the breach.
Where the breach can reasonably be remedied, you will ordinarily have 30 days after notice to do so.
Deliberate piracy, unlawful redistribution, fraudulent licensing information or other serious misuse may result in immediate termination.
Upon termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the affected Font Software.
LB may update this EULA to reflect changes in technology, licensing practice or law. Updates will not retroactively remove material rights validly granted under an earlier version.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
This EULA, your License Record and any applicable written addendum form the complete agreement between you and LB.
Where a specific written agreement conflicts with this EULA, the specific agreement takes precedence.
This EULA is governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute arising from or relating to this EULA will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Vietnam.
